Ana Miranda
Sociologist and senior researcher specializing in youth, education, labour and social inequalities from a public sociology perspective. She has conducted academic research for almost three decades and has been a Researcher at CONICET (Argentina) and a Professor at the University of Buenos Aires. She founded FLACSO Argentina’s Youth Research Program and Work Research Program, leading comparative and longitudinal studies on school-to-work transitions in Latin America. Her work has been supported by international agencies such as IDRC, ILO, UNICEF, UN Women, and the World Bank, and she has served as Visiting Professor at universities across Latin America and Europe. She has authored or edited nine books and more than sixty academic publications, and serves on editorial boards and international research networks on youth studies.
